HAM in Italy is about the same as here in the USA, except for band regulations.
Amateur Radio in Italy is regulated by the Italy Ministry of Communications.
Italy is a member of C.E.P.T., an organization of countries that make Amateur operaters from out of the country easy to operate in their country.
Italy is divided into "Regions", and these regions have HAM symbols (ex. I5, I7, etc.).
